Sari silk ribbon is the beautiful by-product of the sari manufacturing process in India. It is created by sewing together the waste ends of fabric into a continuous ribbon, creating a lustrous, unique yarn. In colloboration with Reforaged, we are thrilled to offer this bespoke collection of botanically dyed silk, in a beautiful, earthy spectrum of hues. Using eco friendly dyeing techniques, and a variety of different plant dyes, Lauren from Reforaged, has created an incredible range of ribbons that beautifully reflect the colours of the natural world. This naturally dyed silk ribbon is a beautiful, luxe addition to weaving, crochet and macrame projects. It could also be used in jewellery making, basketry, and floral artistry to stunning effect.
